To facilitate the creation of complex multi-sampled instruments, AudioLayer allows for the use of a hierarchical structure of Layers and Zones, each with its own sound manipulation parameters. A unique feature of AudioLayer is the ability to choose the scope level at which your editing applies for each Zone: all Zones in the Instrument, the Layer only, or individually for each Zone. This provides endless creative options for manipulating sound using a comprehensive set of Filters, Envelopes, and LFOs to shape pitch, timbre, and level.

- SIS - Seamless Instrument Switching

The unique architecture of the Streaming Sample Engine enables instant loading of even complex instruments, allowing for seamless switching from one Instrument to the next without cutting off the sound. This includes different effect settings.

- Easy Design Workflow -

The built-in audio sample recorder enables quick creation of Instruments on the fly within seconds. The Music Effect AudioUnit / Audiobus effect plugin lets you record multi-samples semi-automatically directly inside your preferred host platform, instantly creating an Instrument with the help of various auto-mapping options. These options include file-name-based mapping of key ranges and velocities, as well as automatic pitch detection. Additionally, a special "Single Cycle Waveform" detector has been integrated for easy use of these specific files.
